Organiser tools

One place to get an event from idea to event day.

MEL brings the practical parts of running an event together, without making organisers learn Drupal or juggle a patchwork of tools.

Create & publish

Build clear event pages, set dates and venues, add ticket types or free RSVP capacity, then publish when you are ready.

Sell or take RSVPs

Run free events or paid events. Organisers connect their own Stripe account for paid ticket sales.

Manage attendees

Keep guest lists, ticket details, reminders and attendee information together in the organiser workspace.

Check in on event day

Use browser-based mobile check-in and QR scanning on compatible devices, with a manual check-in path when needed.

Wallet passes

Give attendees convenient Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes alongside their event ticket experience.

See what is working

Review event performance and organiser analytics so you can understand bookings and improve the next event.

How the soft launch works

A supported path from application to live event.

  1. 1

    Tell us about your event

Share the basics about your organisation, event type and what you use today.

  2. 2

    We talk through fit

We will contact suitable organisers to understand the event and what support is needed.

  3. 3

    Set up together

Create the event, connect Stripe if it is paid, configure RSVPs or tickets and prepare the attendee journey.

  4. 4

    Run the event

Use MEL through event day, then tell us what helped, what got in the way and what should improve.

Event day

Less paperwork at the door. More focus on your event.

MEL is being built for the reality of event day: staff moving around, attendees arriving together and organisers needing information quickly. Check-in works through the browser on compatible mobile devices, with QR scanning and manual attendee lookup.

Better attendee experience

A ticket that lives where people already look.

Wallet passes are a working MEL capability, helping reduce the “where is my ticket?” moment and making event-day access simpler for attendees.

Why join early

You are not joining a mailing list. You are helping shape the product.

Direct access

Talk with the MEL team while your real event is being prepared, rather than being left alone with a help centre.

Influence what comes next

Your experience running an event becomes practical product feedback before the wider launch.

Start with the right workflow

Get help setting up the organiser journey so your first MEL event begins with the right structure.

Why MyEventLane exists

Community events deserve tools that feel made for the people running them.

MEL is being built as a community-first alternative to event software that can feel fragmented or overly transactional. The goal is simple: give organisers practical tools, help people discover what is happening nearby, and make the whole event journey feel more human.

Join the soft launch

Tell us about the event you want to run.

We are prioritising organisers with a real upcoming event. The form takes a couple of minutes and starts a conversation; it does not lock you into anything.

Suitable for community organisations, bands and promoters, hospitality venues, clubs, charities, businesses, markets, festivals and other event hosts.

Frequently asked questions

A few useful answers before you apply.

Is MyEventLane open to everyone yet?

No. This is an organiser soft launch. We are bringing selected organisers in first so they can run real events before wider public launch.

Can I run a free event?

Yes. MEL supports free RSVP events as well as paid ticketed events.

How do paid events work?

For paid ticketing, organisers connect their own Stripe account. Stripe processes the organiser's payments and manages payouts to the organiser's nominated bank account.

Can attendees use Wallet passes?

Yes. MEL supports Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes.

Do I need special scanning hardware?

MEL's check-in workflow is browser based and can use compatible mobile devices. Manual attendee check-in is also available.

Looking for events?

Attendee access comes next.

If you attend events rather than run them, leave your email and we will let you know when MyEventLane opens more widely.

Have an event coming up?

Bring it to the MyEventLane soft launch and help us build the organiser experience around real events.
